BPSC is the authority for this BCS Examination. Well, the online application for the 47 BCS has been already started. If you wish to sit for the exam, then you must submit your online application before the deadline. Do you know the exact process of submitting the BCS Application? Well I am showing you the process for the application.

BCS Exam is the most hard exam in our country. The primary eligibility is Graduation. Thats why there is a huge number of candidate can sit for the exam. But it only few of them make it successful. However, lets dive into the 47 BCS Circular-

Bangladesh Public Service Commission has published the notice of 47 BCS Exam Circular. This circular is very important for the candidates who were taking preparation for BCS Exam. There are many new graduate students who have got eligibility for the BCS or Bangladesh Civil Services.

The candidates will submit their online application and then collect the application form. You have to use a Teletalk SIM to make the payment. I have discussed about the payment system and showed how you will make the payment. Before that, make sure that you are eligible for the BCS and submit your application.

Eligibility/Qualification

First of all, a candidate must be a citizen of Bangladesh. Also the candidate must be physically and mentally fit to serve for the country. Well, there are some criteria that you have to fulfill to be eligible for the BCS Exam. There are some additional terms that you need to know about.

Educational Qualifications:

Minimum Degree: A candidate must have at least a bachelor’s degree from any UGC-approved university.

Age Limit: General Candidates: Must be between 21 and 30 years old as of the specified date in the circular.

Age Relaxation: For freedom fighters’ children, candidates from small ethnic groups and disabled candidates: Up to 32 years. This is also known as Quota.

Additional Criteria: Certain cadres may have additional specific requirements, such as height, chest measurement, etc., especially for Administration services.

Apply Online

The Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exam is a highly competitive examination for recruitment to various civil service positions in Bangladesh. For the BCS Examination process, the online application is quite important. Please prepare your recent photo and signature ready for upload before you start the application. Lets show you the application process-

The first step is to open your web browser and go to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) official website- BPSC.Teletalk.Com.BD
There, click on ‘Start New Application’ and a new interface will appear
You will many options that have to filled up with correct information
Enter all the required information
Upload your photo and signature
Then the important part comes, you have to select your Cadre Choice
Finally, preview the application and submit it

Note: You must be very careful while entering all the information there. If you make any mistake or enter wrong information then your application will be dismissed. In serious case, BPSC may take action against you.

Payment Instruction

For your kind information, you must pay your BCS Application Fee within 72 hours after you submit the application. This year, BCS Application fee is 1000 taka. The payment method is mentioned in the BCS Circular. You have to send two SMSs to make the payment. However, I am showing the actual way to pay your fee-

[1st SMS]

SMS Format- BPSC <space<> User ID and send to 16222

After you send the SMS, wait for a few moments. You will get a SMS from the authority. The replied SMS will contain your name, payable amount a code. If your name matches, then type the second SMS.

[2nd SMS]

BPSC <space> Yes <space> The code and send to 16222

Note: You must use a Teletalk SIM to make the payment. Before you start the payment, make sure that your SIM has enough balance for the payment.

Download Admit Card

BCS admit card is usually issued a few weeks before the exam date. Candidates will be notified via SMS when the admit card is available for download. But it is to mention that, sometimes the SMS may be delay. So it is better to keep all the news about the Admit Card by your own.

However, at this moment, BPSC authority has announced that the BCS Exam Admit Card has been issued. So, if you have applied for the BCS then you have to collect your admit card.

To download your Admit Card-

Go to the BPSC.Teletalk.Com.BD website
There, click on ‘Admit Card’ option
Then, enter your User ID and Password
You will get the PDF version of your admit card, download it

Note: The admit card is mandatory for entry into the examination hall. Without it, candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam. It is used for verification of the candidate’s identity at the exam center.

Center List

For Your kind information, BPSC publish the Exam Center List few days before the exam date. That means, you will not know your exam seat plan early. However, BPSC has published the Center List for the exam. You can get the exam center list here.

Candidates, you can get the BCS Preliminary Exam Center list and BCS Written Exam Center List from here. The PDF file is attached here. You will download the PDF file and search for your exam center. Beside the each exam center name, the registration number range is mentioned. So, you can easily find out in which exam center you will sit for your exam.

Preliminary Syllabus

The Preliminary Exam will be MCQ based. There will be same MCQ question for all the candidates. However, BPSC reveals the Preliminary Exam Syllabus. As a candidate, you must see the BCS MCQ Syllabus and start taking preparation according to it. The exam will be for 200 MCQs. There will be different types of questions such as- Bangla Language and Literature, English Language and Literature, Bangladesh Affairs, International Affairs, Mathematics, General Science and Technology, Mental Ability, Ethics, Values, and Good Governance and GK.

Written Syllabus

BCS Written Exam is the second stage of the BCS examination process, following the Preliminary Exam. The written exam will be taken for 900 marks. But the question pattern is far more different from the Preliminary Exam. It is really hard to pass, in fact lot of candidates who pass the Preliminary Exam could not pass the written exam.

However, you can download their BCS Written Exam Syllabus PDF from here. You must be prepared for the written exam according to the syllabus. Be sure that there will be no question outside this syllabus. But you need to cover almost everything on this syllabus.
